Transformers Movie Leader Optimus PrimeGet Ready To Rule The Universe This Christmas
This is the Optimus Prime toy from Transformers: The Movie with "advanced automorph technology", a little feature allowing you to trigger a transformation on a section of Prime's body complete with sound effects and lights. Prime is fairly posable by Transformer standards with 5 individually moving fingers, hips with a great deal of action, elbows and knees allowing for a little more robot form action than you are used to. A built in blaster flips over Prime's hand where you can load a little blue lazer projectile. Along side the blaster arm is a lever that raises up secondary blasters. The truck mode was surprisingly easy to convert to, even for me who once took 2 hours to transform Megatron from his robot mode to dragon form..or vice versa... I think I've blocked the memory out. In auto mode, pushing a button on the top of the truck activates a horn sound and light up windows. I'm a bit old for toys, but I can see this particular model flying off the shelves, regardless of how the movie does. I picked one up as a collector.
